O.K. first off it was not easy to find online but once found the rest was a breeze. I ordered the part which was simple enough, it shipped as scheduled and arrived in three days instead of possibly five to eight which was awesome, just in time for Football. Upon arrival the package was damaged but River Valley Electronics had it packed so well there were no problems. Installation was a cinch oh and thanks for the latex glove nice touch to remind people to keep their hands off the bulb. I hope I do not have to order another one anytime soon but if i need anything else of this nature I will definately use River Valley Electronics as the service was great and the price was unbeatable/unbelievable.

Lamp Hdtv Rptv Lamp for Panasonic

After some 4+ years the LCD bulb in my Panasonic 50" LCD HDTV finally blew out. Some places sell just the LCD bulb that you have to mount into the old housing. This unit includes the housing and all so you never touch the bulb or dick around with wires and soldering. I think the old was out and this one was in in less than 3 minutes. Very easy! Actually resetting the TV's timer and hour count was more complex than changing the bulb.
This one worked Great for me and I am very glad I spent the extra couple bucks to get the new housing too.

Lamp Hdtv WEGA XL2400 3LCD HDTV Replacement Lamp

Since this has the housing already, super easy to replace. It took DH 10 minutes max to replace. Have had it for 2.5 weeks so far and everything looks good. Will update if anything changes. I am glad I chose this and not a refurbished one. Very happy with product.

When our TV's lamp went out, I was a little concerned about how hard it would be to change this thing out... I'm a computer geek by trade, but I honestly don't know a lot about HD televisions. I took a quick look at my TV's manual, and had learned how to pop the lamp in and out in just a few minutes.
Basically, you pop open one panel, turn a lever and pull out another panel, grab the old lamp by hook/finger handle, gently pull up and out. Push the new one in until it pops into place, make sure you replace the inner panel properly (the one with the lever, if not secured properly, the TV won't turn on), then pop the outer panel back on and there you have it, a TV again.
Our lamp has been in for several months, and the image quality (especially brightness) seems to be as good as I remember the stock lamp. Having said that, it may be the stock lamp.
Summary: if your WEGA or whatever goes black and this lamp fits into your unit, then get one. I like a bright TV in a dark room, as does my wife. We've both put this replacement lamp to it's paces, not to mention we leave the TV on when we're not home.

Add clearly shows a philips lamp, but they sent me an unmarked box. After investigation, I found it was osram that is far less durable! I get about 8-10 months out of an osram compared to 16-24 months out of a Phillips. And they are more expensive, so here you pay for a Philips and get a scam!

I ordered this lamp for my uncle ... should have been simple but it wasn't. The part number is right, the picture on the web site is right, product showed up and it wasn't even close. Emailed and Called ... took a week to get in touch with someone for a return. Told them it was the wrong one, they sent a new one ... different for sure but still not the right bulb. Finally got a refund so that I can hire a local TV repair company to come out with the right part and get the darn tv fixed. Don't order replacement bulbs on line ... pay the extra $75 for a local service call so that someone else gets to deal with the headache of the right parts. This 'simple' lamp replacement cost me two days worth of on the phone, on the email, verifying part numbers and etc. What a waste!!!

I ignored the timer warning to replace the lamp on my TV for 3 months before I decided to finally order this replacement. I started noticing darker scenes were barely visible even at night when the room was dark and I also noticed it would flicker brighter and darker once in awhile.

After reading a lot of reviews I ordered this lamp from Projector Nova LLC. From the reviews, they seemed to be the best bet, this TV is so old (in TV years) I couldn't find an original lamp from JVC so this was the next best thing. They didn't claim this to be an original JVC lamp like most other suppliers were trying to claim, but a replacement lamp with the model name/number. I decided to give into Amazon prime since I found myself ordering from amazon quite often and got the free two-day shipping. I ordered it Thursday and to my surprise found it at my door Friday after work. The installation was a breeze: unscrew the door, unscrew the lamp, pull it out, replace with new lamp in the same orientation, screw everything back in and you're done. I saw a great improvement right away with the dark scenes and do not observe anymore flickering in brightness. It's been a month so far so I will keep updated on how long it lasts me.
