I ignored the timer warning to replace the lamp on my TV for 3 months before I decided to finally order this replacement. I started noticing darker scenes were barely visible even at night when the room was dark and I also noticed it would flicker brighter and darker once in awhile.

After reading a lot of reviews I ordered this lamp from Projector Nova LLC. From the reviews, they seemed to be the best bet, this TV is so old (in TV years) I couldn't find an original lamp from JVC so this was the next best thing. They didn't claim this to be an original JVC lamp like most other suppliers were trying to claim, but a replacement lamp with the model name/number. I decided to give into Amazon prime since I found myself ordering from amazon quite often and got the free two-day shipping. I ordered it Thursday and to my surprise found it at my door Friday after work. The installation was a breeze: unscrew the door, unscrew the lamp, pull it out, replace with new lamp in the same orientation, screw everything back in and you're done. I saw a great improvement right away with the dark scenes and do not observe anymore flickering in brightness. It's been a month so far so I will keep updated on how long it lasts me.
